Port Melbourne is a nice suburb and lots of cafes and places to dine. The exchange pub round corner served brilliant food and the craft beer was great. great place for working professionals to use or tourists... we were both.. Gym was good too.... The room was a two bedroom apartment which was impeccably clean and tidy. The bedrooms and bathroom had high quality linen and were very comfortable. The position is relatively close to city link which makes travelling a more pleasant experience. The beach was only a few minutes walk if you so desired to utilize. We picked these apartments as they are situated in Port Melbourne close to the terminal for the Spirit of Tasmania ferry which we had booked for a day trip over to Tassie. The apartment was a modern well equipped two bedroom two bathroom that easily catered for the 4 of us. They were presented in a very clean & tidy manner with very comfy beds and impressive monogrammed bedding. It had an impressive terrace and there was also access to a rooftop terrace with great views of the Melbourne skyline. We would definitely consider these if in this part of Melbourne in the future. Great location with easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket, and of course the waterfront.

The pictures shown in the listing are what you get. The place is clean and very comfortable. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer. It even had a vacuum cleaner! Location is very close to downtown Melbourne and there is public tram transport nearby. The area feels very safe even at night and there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Will definitely want to stay here again if returning to Melbourne!

From the receptionist greeting through to the stylish, well decorated room and fast Wi-Fi,  it was a pleasure to stay at the Hamptons. I personally rate a stay at how good the shower is and how good the pillows are (I know it’s strange), 5 stars for both. If, like myself, you struggle to sleep when away and you are sensitive to noise and light, then you don't need to worry here. It was excellent! The bed was so comfortable too with plenty of fluffy pillows. The level of cleanliness was outstanding. The terrace with 360 degree views was a real bonus. It's a real shame we didn't stay longer so we could enjoy it. Little extra touches such as having miniature washing up liquid and new spinge etc. The washer-dryer tucked away behind a cupboard is an excellent design and use of space. Again, being provided with sachets of detergent was really nice. It's like they've thought of everything. It was truly a home away from home. Basically, everything was perfect. We loved it and can't wait to come back again.

The presentation, modern decor, and facilities were excellent and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. As we are people who pay attention to detail and have high standards it ticked all the boxes and it was a wonderful place to stay. Absolutely gorgeous young lady on reception, extremely helpful, car park is cool and the apartment is beautiful. I highly recommend this place, quite reasonably priced, will definitely come back here, and an added bonus is the beach, almost across the road, yipeee night walk if our bodies are up to it!

There is a lovely rooftop area and rooms are very clean and air conditioned. Thanking Emily for her outstanding hospitality and attention to the detail. Grateful to have been met by such a friendly, personable and intelligent young lady with beautiful energy. She treated me with the utmost care and respect. Excellent communication skills & down to earth yet professional. After a busy run she was attentive and accommodating - I could not fault her. The rooms are stunning. I was able to park out back in a stacker, guided by lovely Emily and walk straight in to reception to the lift. Too easy!  She was the highlight of my stay.

Close to the cafes and Beaconsfield Parade for long walks. Near enough to both the bus service to QV market and the light rail back into the city. The rooftop area is fantastic, too. A real bonus.

The complimentary toiletries were high quality. The condiments left for tea and coffee were great. The rooms very nicely appointed- linens lovely, furniture in good condition. AND... the view was very nice. I would highly recommend this property. The woman who checked us in, Emily, must be commended. We felt she went above and beyond to accomodate us and orientate us to the facilty, specifically the parking garage. Additionally, she was a delighful personality and a great representative for the company. She should get recognition and extra compensation for a job brilliantly done.

Have stayed here numerous times and have never been disappointed, always enjoyable. Location was perfect for picking my son up from the Spirit of Tasmania boat, close to eating facilities and a Coles which is nice, hot water was really hot and nice for shower and for doing the dishes - in Adelaide the hot water is restricted to 50-degrees maximum. The light decor and paint colour gives an airy feel to the rooms.

Excellent cleaning. I absolutely love the Hamptons apartment it was spotlessly clean, immaculate, the most comfortable furniture.. everything you needed was provided from washing machine, clothes dryer, coffee maker machine and the situation was perfect. You could see the beach from the apartment and the owners were the most helpful and friendly beautiful people I have ever met and there is also safe parking close to shops it was so comfortable I am going to stay there again in the near future and i loved the roof top sun deck it is amazing home away from home. I loved everything it was perfect out of this world you could not fault anything. Everything was total luxury and the owners were so helpful they took the time to help me learn how to send a text on my phone service like that is very rare these days anyone who decides to stay there will be very happy and very comfortable.

The premium suite was superb with a beautiful balcony looking out over the bay. The amenities we awesome. We even had a Buttler’s pantry in the premium apartment. The beds were very comfortable. We had 12 people staying between the 3 rooms. We were very comfortable and we’re able to gather with enough space for dinner each night. We loved it and would highly recommend booking here!

I also appreciated the location near the beach, and easy to drive, walk around, or get to public transport. The staff member upon arrival was helpful (and you didn't really need them after that). The apartment had the basic stuff to cook, allowing you to cook without going out. Big tick with washer and dryer appliances as well.

The train takes 12 to 15 or so minutes to get to the city depending on time of day. Very convenient to the beach and to the bay street shops. The shared rooftop area was an excellent place to relax and look at the view.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment and would highly recommend it. The location was absolutely perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach and within easy walking distance of shops, bars, and restaurants. It made everything so convenient and really added to the overall experience. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and I especially loved the coded entry system for both the building and the apartment. Not having to worry about keys or coordinating who had them made everything so much easier. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. A real highlight was the rooftop area, which has amazing views of the Melbourne skyline. It was the perfect spot for sunset drinks and a great way to unwind in the evenings. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The staff we spoke with in person were lovely and incredibly helpful, especially the person who gave us instructions on how to manage the stacking parking. The company hired to do the cleaning was also very polite and friendly.  The furniture wasn't too tired, as often found in some places; the kitchen appliances and the bathroom were clean. The apartment was big enough for two people without feeling on top of one another. We went for a walk on the beach every day; it was cold, but it was a great walk, and it was easy to buy a coffee on the way. An easy wander down, maybe two minutes max to get there. Easy walk to the pub, IGA supermarket and fast food outlets.

Pet Policy

  • Pets must have up to date worming, flea treatments, and vaccinations
  • Pets must have had nails trimmed to avoid scratches to the floors and furnishings
  • Pets must not shed. To prevent cleaning charges we STRONGLY suggest giving your pets a good brush to remove excess fur
  • Pets left alone in the apartment MUST NOT disturb other guests. Constant barking may result in guests being required to remove the pet from the property at their own expense
  • Bring your own Bedding, we do not supply bedding for pets. Please bring sheet(s) to cover furniture
  • Your pets must have their own food and water bowls. They must not use the crockery in the apartment
  • Dogs to be taken off premises for toileting. Owners are responsible for pet waste

Additional cleaning charges may apply should pet hair, urine, fleas or any evidence (including smell) of the pet be left behind when guests leave. It is advised for pets to wear tick/flea collars to avoid bringing or picking up ticks/fleas to/from the area.

  • Located 130 metres away from Port Melbourne Beach and 50 metres from Bay Street's shopping, restaurants & bars.
  • Normally reserved for the top end of town we are able to offer our guests the ability to stay in one of Melbourne's most exclusive beach side suburbs.
  • Our apartments are much larger than comparably priced hotels.
  • Fully equipped kitchens, including a full set of cookware and homewares.
  • Espresso coffee machine in every apartment. We even include a starter pack of our favourite coffee pods for you to enjoy.
  • All our apartments have opening windows (some with balconies).
  • Our apartments are 100% fully self-contained, with fully equipped kitchens, as well as a washing machine and dryer in every apartment. If you prefer to have the apartment cleaned we provide pricing for daily and ad hoc cleaning.
  • We provide luxury APPELLES toiletries, and an initial provision of consumables so there is no need to visit a supermarket upon your arrival.
  • Utilities including electricity, water and gas
