Mr Kitly opened in 2010 on the light-filled first floor of a Victorian-era building in Brunswick. They are a small independent shop and gallery stocking a considered collection of functional, garden and art objects.
They represent artists and makers from Melbourne, Japan, and beyond, with a special focus on the ceramic arts and the beautifully crafted. In the garden room their garden tools are carefully selected for functionality, they have a curated selection of indoor plants for sale, and their selfwatering plant pots are Melbourne-made classics.
